As it happens, the car did more damage to it than all of the previous steps combined. The shear weight of the car made a lovely satisfying crackling sound as the case buckled and gave way.
I drove over it with both passenger-side wheels, then just to be sure, I drove back over it with the back wheel again.
The case buckling caused most of the front of the unit to come apart. Little bits of plastic fell out, including the flap to the tape bay, and a circuit board or two were sticking out now. I had a sneaking suspicion the remote control might not work anymore.
But most importantly, the toast was still in place.
We made sure to carefully dispose of any pieces that had come off it, as well as checking for any pieces that might come loose. After all, we didn't want to make a mess or anything.
Conclusion: Car 1, Video 0.
Don't try this at home, kids.
